Ollie’s movie review (State of Play)

State of Play

The movie starts out with a mention of a politician’s (Steven Collins) assistant death at a press conference with a rival party. The death occurence was at a subway station. The odd thing was that she died right in one of the three blind spots in the security system’s 56 cameras. The blame is on the enterprize called Point Corp which trains soldiers. The true aim of Point Corp is still unknown to all except Collins who is investigating them. Now Cal and Rachel, lead reporters, are out to save a small struggling newspaper business from extinction. Russel Crowe as Cal Mcaffery,  Rachel Mcadams as Della Freye, and Ben Affleck as Steven Collins are the cast of this suspense movie. I suggest this movie for three reasons: it has honorable action scenes once in a while, it progresses the puzzle smoothly through the story, and I liked it enormously. You heard what I thought of it so go to the library and pick up State of Play (applause).
